What Have You Been Thinking Of Lately?

What have you been thinking of lately? Are you restless, worried, upset, frustrated? The list could go on and on.

I can bet that your not renewing your mind (Romans 12:2), cause to be real with you, when those feelings come upon me, I begin to evaluate my time with Lord and His word. Yes, I know it’s not about quantity of scripture you read or the amount of time spent in prayer, but its about quality of intimate time with Him that makes the difference. So I go back to His word and I say it out load, because His word will always accomplish what it is sent to do (Isaiah 55:11). I say out loud “Jesus abides in me”(John 15:4), “Fret not thyself” (Psalms 37).

Here are just a couple of scriptures if you’re thinking about the future - I have plans for you succeed (Jeremiah 29:11), don’t be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6).

The word tells me that I have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16), so what does Jesus thinks of? Whatever is honest, just, pure, lovely, if there’s a good report, if there’s any virtue and if there’s any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:6)!

You have to be intentional about spending time with the Lord and His word. Being passive will get you passive results, you know the old saying,”birds can fly over your head but don’t let them make a nest there!” Change your thoughts and you’ll change your world!
